Chris’s basic premise behind any negotiation is that there is always leverage. In this session he will describe specific negotiation steps for achieving success and use personal as well as stories of clients and former students to show how these skills have been applied.
About Chris: A 24 year veteran of the FBI, Chris retired as The Lead International Kidnapping Negotiator. His company, started in 2008, specializes in solving business communication problems with hostage negotiation solutions. In addition to the FBI, Chris has lectured on International Business Negotiation at Harvard University and lectured on negotiation for the High Performance Leadership course at the IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland, the Sloan School of Business at MIT and the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. Currently he teaches negotiation in the executive master’s program at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and USC’s Marshall School of Business.
