Wes Tomer, CPA, CGMA
Principal and Managing Director, Vault Consulting
Wes is dedicated to helping not-for-profit organizations not only meet goals but succeed in their missions. More than twenty years ago, when Wes kicked off his career in accounting, he quickly gained an appreciation for the not-for-profit community. That appreciation then promptly turned into passion, and Wes began dedicating his then nascent accounting and financial know-how to serve the not-for-profit community. Today, he continues the tradition, as he applies his executive-level management accounting and financial expertise to continue serving the not-for-profit community.
He is hardly ever without an answer to a hypothetical, as he pulls from the bank of technical knowledge he has been building up over the last couple decades of having performed CFO advisory roles to multiple not-for-profit organizations across a span of industries. Keeping in mind that accounting for the not-for-profit community is business-driven, Wes takes a comprehensive outlook prior to disseminating strategic financial advice that will ensure the viability and financial health of organizations that partner with Vault.
Today, he is proud to still be working alongside the not-for-profit community while simultaneously building a legacy for his clients and staff. When Wes is not volunteering or supporting one of the many not-for-profit communities he personally champions, he is exploring other enriching opportunities that bring him fulfillment, such as traveling with his wife across continents to explore African safaris and experience animal sightings from polar bears to gorillas.
