SPEAKER BIOS
Bill Conforti
SVP of Strategy and Solutions, Association Analytics
Bill has more than 20 years in software products and services with experience ranging from strategy, operations, consulting, business development, human resources, and program management. As Senior Vice President of Strategy & Solutions at Association Analytics, Bill is a hands-on executive working across departments to support sales, development, continuous improvement, and delivery of our products and services to provide the best value and customer experience. Bill is an association industry thought leader and content contributor who speaks frequently at industry events and conferences, as well as hosting regular webinars and educational sessions related to data analytics, customer engagement, data strategy and governance, digital marketing and more. Prior to joining Association Analytics, Bill was Vice President at EastBanc Technologies, a software development and services company, where he responsible for product and service strategy, delivery, proposals, business development, and staffing. During his time there, he helped drive growth from an 8-person startup to more than 100 staff with several successful products launched over more than 10 years.
Greg Pollack
VP of Sales, Association Analytics
Greg is a seasoned professional having worked both for, and with, associations for over 15 years. He started his career working for a not-for-profit, learning all about membership, recruiting and training volunteers, running fundraising campaigns, and overall structure of the industry. From there, he moved over to an association selling exhibit space, magazine advertisements, and sponsorships. Wanting to use his technical skills, Greg moved to a technology provider, working first as an implementation project manager supporting associations, then as a lead product manager prior to moving into direct sales and ultimately sales management. Greg moved on to the next challenge of working for a small (at the time) start-up company, Higher Logic, where he again started as an individual contributor, but quickly moved into sales management and ultimately went on to build out the sales enablement and sales engineering teams. As VP of Sales at Association Analytics, Greg leads the sales team and helps spread the company’s values and offerings to the association community. He regularly attends and speaks at industry conferences including ASAE, Association Forum, and technology partner user groups. He’s also one of the regular contributors to Association Analytics bi-weekly webinar series and blog.
Ben Muscolino
Founder & CEO, AMS Geek
Ben Muscolino is 5 x Founder & 6 x CEO of technology product and services companies; Entrepreneur, Investor, Sales, Channel Sales and Brand Marketing Expert. Ben is also well known consultant in the Association, Nonprofit, Government and Cyber industries and avid speaker and content leader at events across the country since 2009. He is an active member or board member of multiple organizations including the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the Society for Information Management (SIM), the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) as a Member and Executive Council Member, the Rochester Ataxia Foundation Member of the Board of Directors and more.
Gretchen Steenstra
Director, Client Strategy/Strategic Consultant, DelCor Technology Solutions
Gretchen works with client staff members to identify business objectives and related needs when they are including technology as part of the solution. Together, they gain an understanding of how to connect business needs to technology resources. Her projects at DelCor range from technology leadership/CIO, assessing and selecting new technology management systems, and project management.
Wade Tetsuka, CPA
President, UST
Wade Tetsuka is a C.P.A. who brings 20 years of financial expertise and business management experience to U.S. Transactions Corporation. Wade also has an extensive network of contacts within the government contracting arena. He was previously with Ernst & Young in San Francisco and later PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Stuttgart, Germany where he was senior engagement manager responsible for the assurance work for IBM, Kodak, Sony Europe, and several other multinational companies. He also served as President/General Manager to three early-stage fast-growth companies in the life sciences industry. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business with a B.S. in Economics.
Julie Duncan
VP, Sales & Association Practice Leader
Julie Duncan leads UST’s Association Industry practice. Her focus is helping Association clients implement an integrated, PCI-compliant, credit card processing solution within their AMS or ERP platform which allows the Association to have the lowest possible cost per transaction (Visa/MasterCard/AMEX) Julie joined UST in 2018. Prior to joining UST, Julie served for four years as a Literacy Specialist to learning disabled students in grade school. For 10 years she also co-managed and co-founded a production service business with her husband in the burgeoning film industry in Georgia. This experience helped Julie to gain working knowledge of the broad spectrum of business operations including vendor management, HR, accounting, marketing, sales and customer service. Julie is a graduate of Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, NJ where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English – Rhetoric and Communication.
Michael Candela
Executive Vice President, Multiview
Michael Candela leads Multiview’s team of Partnership Sales Executives, helping to generate meaningful connections and revenue for more than 1,200 high-profile National and International associations. Through his work with the association community, Michael and his team of digital strategists have helped curate audiences, drive engagement and delivered millions in revenue via digital media on behalf of our association partners. Having served the association industry for 20+ years, Michael is a noted expert and sought-after speaker on topics associated with digital publishing and revenue growth strategies. He is also an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and volunteer in the community. A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and residing just outside of Washington DC, Michael is a true DMV Native. When he is not working alongside his MultiView team, he spends time with his family enjoying the great outdoors.
