B107: 3 Innovations in modern Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Wednesday, May 5, 2021
3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. EASTERN TIME

A computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), also known as CMMS maintenance software, is designed to simplify the maintenance of all your assets. A CMMS enables organizations of all types to eliminate manual data entry and easily track the performance and state of health of all equipment in one centralized, digital location. The main functions of a CMMS include maintenance scheduling, managing spare parts inventory and work orders, and tracking asset data and business resources like labor, contractors and materials.

Modern CMMS systems bring innovations that significantly improve productivity:

  1. a modern CMMS is highly automated. Want to move away from paper-based processes or ditch mind-numbing manual spreadsheets?
  2. Modern CMMS systems are scalable and easy-to-use solutions that lets you start small with a simplified maintenance management process that requires corrective and reactive actions. You can then transition to a hybrid setup with a CMMS for managers and paper-based workflow for maintenance staff. Then, take the next step to a more sophisticated automated maintenance program based on preventative and predictive analyses.
  3. Modern CMMS systems are cloud-based or on-premise solution. The cloud-based version offers the same level of functionality as traditional on-premise systems—but with a number of additional benefits, including faster setup, intuitive interface for workers of all skill levels, no IT related costs, accessibility, mobility, managed databases, etc.

SPEAKER BIOS
My passion is to take Canadian companies specialized in B2B high-tech products and SaaS software solutions to the next level. My goal is to turn them into global success stories, from the startup/scaleup phase to international market leader position. I thrive on building top-of-class sales and marketing teams, raising brand awareness in international markets, and creating new revenue streams from untapped regions in the World. I lead strategic marketing efforts on market definition, demonstration of value proposition, and product positioning, in order to carve out an enviable spot in the competitive landscape. I design go-to-market plans and deploy effective sales and marketing strategies using digital marketing, direct sales force and indirect sales channels in new countries to achieve global market penetration. Since 2019, I have been driving the product repositioning and global market penetration of The Asset Guardian (TAG), VEROSOFT’s flagship AI-powered, IoT-based Preventive Maintenance and Asset Management SaaS solution. VEROSOFT is part of the Montreal-based ADNM Group. Over the course of the last 25 years, working for SMBs and larger organizations, I developed go-to-market best practices and skillsets, both on the customer side (Bell Canada subsidiary) and on the agency side (Komunik, 700+ employee agency, serving top customers internationally such as Rogers, Fido, Pfizer, L’Oréal, Manulife, etc.). I dedicated myself to the success of Canadian startups, scaleups and SMBs on international markets, such as Australia, New Zealand, China, Fiji, New Caledonia, France, UK, Germany, Spain, and the USA. During the week-end, I enjoy (more) local activities, such as cross-country skiing in the winter and watersports and craft beer festivals in the summer.
